Accessories - regular full time position
Assembles and finishes product by gluing, wiring, and applying trims and decorations. May assemble and finish product using a variety of hand tools using care in handling of ware. Must be flexible in accepting work assignments and ready and willing to shift priorities as needed. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs using proper lifting technique. May assist in other production, warehouse or quality control areas.
Tour Guide - temporary seasonal position
Lead guided tours of our Farmhouse, imparting the history and aesthetic of the brand to our customers. Must be able to communicate effectively with strangers and feel at ease speaking in public. Gracious, engaging style and polished physical appearance preferred. Physically requires walking outside and climbing of stairs. Tours offered seven days a week during business hours. Position is seasonal now through Columbus Day, limited hours available during the offseason.
Woodshop - regular full time position
Wood worker needed to perform basic wood working cuts in support of production of house wares and home furnishing accessories. Must demonstrate knowledge of the purpose of each woodworking saw and proper technique in using the equipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs using proper lifting technique. May assist in other production or warehouse departments as needed. Must be willing to work cross functionally, handling multiple priorities.
Customer Service Rep - temporary seasonal position
Reports to Call Center Manager. Support the seasonal catalog drops and web customers by taking orders and answering customer concerns over the phone. Must be interested in our customer’s experience and satisfaction. Day, evening and weekend hours available. Requires the use of a telephone, computer keyboard and screen. High school diploma or GED required.
Pottery Decoration - regular full time position
Reports to Pottery Supervisor. Work with supervisor, trainer and quality control to achieve quality decorated pottery in an efficient manner, recognizing harmony in color and proportion. Must possess good brush skills as well as the ability to work with different mediums. Position requires attention to detail and a willingness and desire to accept and learn from others. Requires a positive attitude, and the flexibility to train in various pottery decoration departments. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. while using proper lifting techniques, sit for long periods of time and bend and reach for objects often. Requires a High School diploma or GED.
Textiles - regular full time position
Reports to the Furniture Planner and Production Supervisor. Must be experienced with sewing or upholstery work. Experience with crafts or handwork preferable. Ability to use hand tools essential. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to lift 40 lbs using proper lifting technique. High school diploma or GED required.
Furniture Decorator - regular full time position
Reports to the Furniture Planner and Production Supervisor. Must be experienced with sewing or upholstery work. Experience with crafts or handwork preferable. Ability to use hand tools essential. Kiln/Glaze Worker - regular full time position
Reports to Pottery Supervisor. Responsible to load and unload kilns, learning proper handling of ware, kiln process control standards and programming. Ideal candidate will be willing to learn all aspects of kiln room operation including oversight of the bisque warehouse. Work Assignments rotate with Glaze Department. Attention to detail, organization, efficiency and self motivation are key to ensuring successful kiln firings. Repetitive movement and lifting of materials/product weighing upwards of 20 lbs required. Must have a high school diploma or GED. A dependable, responsible serious minded individual could quickly develop into a lead position.
Quality Control Inspector - regular full time position
Reports to Supervisor of Technical Services. Responsible for incoming inspection of components and finished goods. Must be able to lift boxes of components ranging from 40-60 lb and cartons of enamelware weighing between 30 -50 lbs frequently during the receipt of a container with tight turnaround deadlines. Visual inspection requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a focused manner. High school diploma or GED required.
